AXN show magic's biggest secrets finally revealed. A david blaine spoof? ok this axn show which reveals the magic secrets is my favourite show because my husband is a magician! :-p but i do have a slight doubt that if the whole show is about kidding david blaine? because most of the street magic tricks they reveal is what was made popular by him and it really looks like this show is actually aiming at david blaine's fans so as to diminish his popularity. today on axn, the masked magician revealed the tricks of drowning in the water for 18 minutes and breaking the world record (duh!) but barely one hour after the show, the same channel (axn) is airing 'David Blaine: Drowned Alive'. what the... ?

I am just watching all of these Criss Angel magic revealed clips on Youtube, and it is just crazy to see all of the people that he uses for his tricks. How the magic "tricks" or the "illusion" really works is a closely kept secret within magicians. When there are alive performance, has ANYONe ever ran into the stage to reveal how it works? i mean i'd be willing to pay money to someone to go to a show and just run onto the stage to show that its not real. Obviously, once u get too close, the trick will be revealed (levitation). thats why they dont' just fly around and shake your hand or pick up with with them and fly around.

I mean, it seems to me that the credibility of all of the worlds religions rely on the gullibility of common people. Television magic is killing my magic career. How can I revive it? I have been practicing magic for about 5 years. I have done every possible reading I could lay my hands upon. These include the 8 volumes in the Tarbell Course in magic, Walter Gibson's Secrets of Magic revealed, Works by Herbert L. Becker, Blackstone and many and many more. Indeed I have learnt a great deal from these but unfortunately the audience today craves for more extreme magic, like the ones they see on television (mainly the ones by Criss Angel). I have performed at bars and clubs but I have been booed off stage on all occasions. I do not want to end my magic career before it has even begun. Criss Angel is a brilliant performer but his style of magic is killing many careers of amateur magicians. I know Criss has a camera team and a whole lot of money to build props but I'm sure there are some magicians out there who know how some of his tricks are done and can help me. My love for magic is genuine and I want to make a career out of it; so please help me out

Magics biggest secret finally revealed? Why do people let the masked magician reveal all of the magic tricks to them? He should be taken off of TV because he is comprimising the livelyhood of other Magicians. I don't like the way that he takes the "magic mystery" out of all the tricks. Whatever happened to the mystery of things? It's like taking the birthday suprise out of birthdays or Christmas or suprise parties. What do you think?

And One by one, four aces are set out in front of the spectator along with three other cards from the deck for each ace. Then, one by one the aces disappear. The cards are placed back on top of the deck and then each aces is spelled A-C-E-O-F-C-L-U-B-S and so on, and after each spelling the card is turned over to reveal the ace.

Really cool, easy, awesome magic tricks? I just watched the illusionist and one trick he uses is the "Know what hand you put it in trick" he tells the "Victim" :p to put the coin in either there left or right hand and every time he'll know which hand its in, he then tells them to put there hand up to there forehead and concentrate hard on what hand the object is in, then when they put there hand down he reveals which hand the coin is in and he is always right? How? Because the blood from the hand the coin is in gets drained when its held to the forehead so it makes it more pale then the other hand. How do the magic linking rings work? After years of watching magic tricks and illusion, after hours of watching the masked magician reveal the secrets behind them all, one trick and one trick alone has always mystified me more than any other, and continues to elude answer. Ironically, it's an incredibly basic trick, so simple that even magicians who perform at company parties know it. The magician has around 6 metal rings, all about 8 inches in diameter. These rings, you see, are completely solid, with no break in them; however, he magically connects and disconnects them to each other. My only guess is that some of the rings DO have slits in them, but not the ones he lets the audience examine. Does anyone know how it really works? Magic trick: Predicting random word from a magazine? I've seen many magic acts where the magician will tell someone before the show to pick any word from any page in a magazine and memorize it, he instructs them to tear the page out and crumple it up into their pocket, just to be sure he doesn't rifle through the magazine later. During the show the magician will explain what happened to the audience and that he will now write down the word in question on a piece of paper and turn it over. He then asks the audience member to call out their word- he flips up the paper to reveal that it is in the word. How is this trick performed

Street Magic and illusions i would like to perform on the street. Please help i need ideas Hello. I am a 14 year old boy and i actually would like to perform Street Magic/Illusions on the streets of where i live (e.g. at th Park and just asking random people. I would like to try to do things that Criss Angel has done but i am up for anything. When i talk about doing things that Criss Angel or somebody else has done i dont mean these super crazy thing like when they chop themselves in half or anything. Now the problem that i am faced with is i am pretty much a begginer magicion/illusionists. I would like some help gathering up magic tricks/illusions that the average person could do on the street and perform for unexpected people. I have some websites like learnmagictricks.org, themagicteacher.com, i have downloaded an online ebook with about 15 easy magic tricks. Now the websites where i learn online suck for the ones i have because for alot of the good ones they dont reveal how you do em. If u have a really good website that shows how to do some easy yet mind boggling magic tricks/illusions i would greatly appreciate it if u shared the. Also give me your own tricks that you can think of and i will try to do it. P.S.- I know i am a begginer and all but i wold like to try things harder than what i have seen online but not be like a deathdefying trick. Who were the masked magicians in FOX's final two magic-related specials? The FOX network aired four television specials called "Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed", starring Val Valentino as the Masked Magician, who revealed the secrets to many stage magic tricks. While his motivation was probably far less than noble (although he claimed the contrary), the specials proved popular. FOX then decided to air a show called "Secrets of Street Magicians Finally Revealed", which followed a very similar format, with a new magician who revealed some secrets of street magic, wore a mask and disguised his voice to avoid recrimination. After the success of this follow-up program, FOX returned to the original format with the fifth installment of Breaking the Magician's Code. This starred yet another magician, wearing a different mask, who revealed more stage magic secrets. I was wondering whether anyone has any idea who the illusionists behind the final two shows were. Their identities were kept totally under wraps, and the crews working on them were sworn to secrecy, so I doubt any official info will surface. Bowling Ball drops out of sketch pad. Does anyone know how this magic trick is done? It's a somewhat famous trick. The magician walks on stage easily carrying a large sketch pad. He opens it up and draws a picture of a bowling ball on it, and also writes the words "Bowling Ball" , then he closes it, then squeezes it together so that the outside covers bend outwards, then a real bowling ball falls out of it to the floor - which makes a loud 'thud' sound. Afterwards, he opens the sketch pad to reveal the drawing of the ball is gone. I believe the original trick is called "bowl-a-rama" Thanks.
