What are some goo card tricks for beginners?

I recently got VERY intrested in card tricks. Im still a beginner so nothing to complicated please. I think i can do about 5-7 tricks the names of them are...Aces high, Sisters Trick, and the others i sadly do not know the name of. So if anyone could give me some good tricks to try and learn it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

1. I suggest you learn first the basics of card tricks before you study other impressive tricks. From there you could actually build up your own card tricks to impress your friends. If you're searching for quality card tricks try going to www.cardtricksite.com there you'll find a lot of card tricks to impress others. Just remember that before you show them practice it first a lot.
2. There are many simple "self-working" card tricks. You can find many on line. I would suggest a book by Karl Fulves titled Self Working Card Tricks. Amazon and other book stores carry it. If you want a good primer for magic generally with tons of beginner magic get a copy of Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic (about $20 on Amazon). It is over 400 pages and about 1/3 is on basic/beginner card tricks and slights. I've been learning and performing magic for 30 years. This book is the best investment I ever made in magic.
